About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, training and coordinating the team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards and the daily work schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and effective coordination of workshop employees.
  • Training, coaching and mentoring team members to contribute to their professional and personal development.
  • Preparing and delivering meaningful communications to workshop employees.
  • Ensuring safety documentation is completed including take 5s, hazard reporting and incident reporting and investigation.
  • Assessing quality of work, completing quality audits and inspections and identifying improvements.
  • Achieving high quality workshop production within agreed scope and timeframes.
  • Performing mechanical tasks including radiator, cooling systems and heat exchange repairs and overhauls. 

 

About You 
The following attributes will be highly regarded:

  • Mechanical trade qualification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Commitment to safety, quality outputs and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
