About the Role
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager and supported by the Customer Service team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the branches and directly with customers to meet their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction. The position will be tasked with developing relationships within the region and will be focused on driving revenue growth in existing customers and offering new service and product lines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Nurturing customer relationships fostering trust, collaboration, and loyalty to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Serving as the bridge between customers and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication, alignment, and coordination to meet customer needs effectively and efficiently.
- Driving growth by understanding customers’ needs, challenges, and business objectives, and proposing tailored solutions that add value.
- Ensuring Customer Satisfaction by proactively addressing customers’ concerns, resolving issues in a timely manner, and continuously seeking feedback to improve service delivery.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans that align with Coxons Group’s overall objectives and growth targets.
- Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to identify opportunities for business expansion and differentiation.
About You
You are a positive contributor and team player that possesses natural relationship building abilities and determination to meet customer needs. You have experience working with mining and industrial customers and are detail oriented, motivated and organised.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Key Account Manager role in the mining or industrial industries.
- Fundamental mechanical knowledge, or knowledge of heavy mining equipment.
- Track record of sales success and exceeding sales budgets.
- Experience working autonomously alongside customers in the field.
- Strong time management, prioritisation, and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
