About the Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the branch. The Administration Officer is responsible for conducting purchasing activities, assisting with condition reports for customers and reception duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling day to day administration duties and providing support to the workshop and office teams.
- Answering phones, greeting customers and coordinating events and meetings.
- Purchasing and receipt of parts and consumables.
- Accurate database management.
- Drafting condition reports and assisting with document closure.
- Arranging couriers and freight.
- General administration duties including scanning, printing. filing, housekeeping, etc.
About You
You are a positive contributor and team player that possesses a natural ability to build strong working relationships. You are detail oriented, motivated and organised with a passion for working in a team environment and supporting others.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 5 years’ of prior experience in an Administration role – previous experience in an automotive or industrial workshop highly regarded.
- Is competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
- Possesses strong time management and coordination skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication.
- Is reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with others in a positive and professional manner.
