About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the branch, and manage and respond to customer requests and queries. The Administration Assistant is responsible for the management of the reception desk including greeting customers and visitors, answering incoming calls and basic purchasing duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling day to day administration duties and providing support to the workshop and office teams.
  • Greeting customers, answering phones and directing or responding to enquiries.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Purchasing and receipt of goods, including general office consumables and uniforms.
  • Arranging couriers, booking training and compiling documentation.
  • Data entry of safety and quality documentation etc.
  • Coordinating workplace events and meetings.
  • General administration duties including scanning, printing. filing, housekeeping, etc.

This part-time role involves working from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for the successful candidate.

About You 

You are a positive contributor and team player that possesses a natural ability to build strong working relationships. You are detail oriented, motivated and organised with a passion for working in a team environment and supporting others.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years’ of prior experience in an Administration role – previous experience in an automotive or industrial workshop highly regarded.
  • Is competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
  • Possesses strong time management and coordination skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Is reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with others in a positive and professional manner.
